My girlfriend's mother suffered a heart attack Christmas day, and things have been understandably chaotic. We don't live in the same state, and she had to fly back up to Montana for the funeral today. She won't be back for a month, and I may be out of sorts. Therefore, I apologize in advance.
Even though this is a trying time for me and mine, and I fear the upcoming year only holds more trials for us all, I still wish to contribute to the mafia in any way I can.
Don't think that because of this terrible event I need to be treated any differently; I am no stranger to death, we have nodded to one another in the streets many times. I just wanted everyone to be aware that if I am out of sorts, it is nothing to do with you.
