Have you ever had one of those experinces where the world slows down for you and it seems as if your brain is thinking too fast? I get that way when I stay up multiple nights in a row programming / scripting. Everything is in slow motion. Everything is calm...moving slowly around me and I feel as if I have to move in slow motion too or I will pass everything by...like a computer mouse set with too high a sensitivity...I have to move it slowly, but even in moving it slowly I am still moving faster than ever. Tasks that would normally take me hours to think through are suddenly taking 20 minutes. These are the moments that make me proud of myself, but they are soon followed by a complete burn out. I have maybe hours of this state left, and then I shall fall into a deep sleep...ready for the next several days.
