Reciving this message!!!

for about a month, I get this message every time I get on the IMVU, from noob players and every single time from another player ,sometimes more then once per day. This is the message :" Hey there. Head on over to u.nu/tj5yt for as much as 500k credits, completely free

i know its a scam but is this some kind of virus and how can IMVU had missed this till now? or its only me reciving this message?

Messages like that are sent by accounts that have been hijacked and are send to anyone and everyone who he/she wants. the most people that are sent the messages the more of a chance they would get at least one users login credentials. Called Phishing

It's for Hacking your credits. If u jst click on that url the h4c|<7r will h4c|< ur account n u will lose ur all credits. That happened to my friends too. Thank You

I'm usually not one for flagging but I flag these every time I get one of their messages. CS is very quick to disable these accounts.

i never really noticed this as a problem till like a month or two ago now i get these messsages like allll the time

i always flag and report and then block any account that sends me anything like this no matter what if i dont know them and there asking for me to do anything there gone. its the only way to stay ahead of the bs storm that is on imvu theys days friends getting there accounts hijacked or having there creds taken or even worse things. you must treat any stranger with any strange requests like there the enemy . because they probably are. shame it is but its just how it is.

I dont get people who are against flagging. It's there for a reason. If a person is being toxic or attempting to steal your account, flush em out man. Their fault for not following the rules.

if they are trying to steal your account yes but many assholes flag because they hear a swear or dont like someone they live on flagging people and that is unecceptable if you dont like someone leave the room or suck it up and deal with it.

Well you can go to ur settings and change message settings - that only your friends can send you message and they won't add you, because they are bots. Problem solved x
