I was wondering if there was a way to join a private room without an invite.

Was the room created as a public room and then marked as unlisted? Or is is outside of the general chatroom system; just a personal private room in someones inventory ... used for private chats?

im pretty sure its from someones inventory

i use a website that shows me a persons rooms and it shows the private ones when anyone is in the room

I heard if a room in 3D chat is set in open it will not show in public when doing search, but since it's open you can enter it if you find the room in imvu browser room search, on there it's not hidden when set to open if not set as public, I not tried it out just sharing what I was told awile back.

If you use IMVU Lite, you can hold onto an old chat invite for hours and choose when to accept it / enter the room at a later time.
