I am reading this book right now.

Tis an original copy from when the book was first printed.
I picked it up from my father who got it from a friend who bought it in a random box of junk at a garage sale...

The book is a scifi romance about a mathematician who falls in love with a poet in a future where mates are chosen by the government...and love is illegal, and those who break the law are sent to the planet Hell!
