I have had it with Lithuanians copying anything that gets popular. I mean don't we have anything good ourselves, anything that we can create?

Of course not!

All we do is copy, copy and more copying. We can't come up with anything of our own. Even if we did, it would probably suck since most of our people would still watch what other countries do. Yea I know we are a small country but we did fight back against communist Russians back in the day.

I would really love it if we would make something good. Why am I talking like this you might ask? 2 reasons :
1. I am sick and tired of seeing sites similar to the original ones just with "lt" at the end.
2. I am sick of shows that are being copied from other countries, mainly the USA.

One website I can assure you is a copy is lamebook.lt. The original is lamebook.com and its funny, but lamebook.lt is just sad.
The shows that were copied are "NEXT" and "Americas got talent". There it's named "Lithuanian got talent"

I can go on and on but I know that some will say TL;DR. I know I would.

All this ranting made me sleepy.
I will make more rant later .

I thought UK started the talent thingy,not really sure.
and Lithuanian chicks are hot >.>

It's cute that you consider your nation as a part of yourself, Mist. ^~^'
I know that Lithuania is a country with a sparkling history, i am even proud of it being one of my neighbouring countries(and a part of the Baltic States), and i believe they actually could make something new of their own.
I always find rather entertaining, for example, their Eurovision songs and performances. :lol:

About copying..
Yep, the same is kind of happening here, in Latvia, too.
We have 2 most popular TV programs in this country, which compete with each other and often copy their TV shows.
That's funny.. one TV program made a show called "Dance with a Star"(which by the way was obviously copied from "Dancing with the Stars" made by U.S.), then the other created "Star rain", which was pretty similar with the one above. :roll:

But i guess it's everywhere.. and such countries like U.S.A. or (Great) Britain probably will always be an example to look after..

Indeed , but its still kind of lame . We have dancing with the stars here too . But i think my country is just too lazy o.o . Thank god they didnt make 16 and pregant or my sweet 16 here that would be a nightmare
