Free Meshes

I am fairly decent at creating meshes in Sketchup, however texturing is a bit of a pain and I often scrap projects simply because I can't create textures that I like enough.

To that end, I have been thinking about creating free meshes to give away here that people with better graphical talent could texture and resell or submit to the catalog.

All you would need is Sketchup and the ability to to create textures in any program of your choice. I would like to know if anyone would be interested in this?

I work as a graphic designer for a large company. That doesn't sound like an issue at all. Your call though... I would love to contribute

That sounds really cool, most sell their meshes. So on that note maybe you could charge a small fee if you felt like it.

I am more than willing to give them out, just wanted to know people would use them. Not gonna put the effort in if no one is gonna download them.

I don't know if people would be willing to pay anything for an untextured mesh. Especially for Sketchup since it's harder to texture with. WHo knows, maybe though
