Friends account stolen for ransom

1) your problem - A friend of mine ~Name Removed~ had her account hijacked, the man is asking for credits and a marriage package.

2) how this problem effects you- it effects my friend she cant afford to pay that kind of ransom, shes a nice girl and never messes with people.

3) Where in IMVU this problem is coming from- a guy by the name of ~Name Removed~

Please don't post IMVU names outside of the "post your IMVU name" thread. If we need to know either of their IMVU names we will ask you for them in a private message.

I believe it will be possible for your friend to get he account back if she has access to the email.

EDIT:

Since the guy changed the email, your best best would be to send a tick to IMVU asking them to return it to you.

Make sure your friend has all the original details of the account on hand. Such as original email, password, date of birth, registration date and any billing records for things like credits, ap, vip or marriage package.

Sorry about the names, yes she has a ticket in currently. She has pretty much all her info but the card used on the account, it was a walmart prepaid debit card that she lost. Im trying to see if theres a way to find the last 4 of that card number.
