Use a bm room in a public room?

Hey,

I got my room today and I managed to make everything on the tutorial, but I want to know how would it be possible for me to make the room public, having to invite them through a third part client made everyone I spoke to wary of their own security. Also I kinda want to leave it open for visitation as well.

with deep client thats not possible plus i do not see a reason why you would make a bm room public. MAKING ANY BM PRODUCT PUBLIC WILL ONLY ALLOW IMVU TO FIND IT FASTER AND TAKE IT FROM YOU no matter where you buy said product from. Not to mention the risk of getting disabled. I would not recommend it.

There are so many sex rooms around with several poses that I never seen on the store, rooms that been there for a very long time. My idea was to have it open when I'm in it and close when I leave, kinda ruins the purpose of why I got the room. If people have to download an extra to use it, no one will actually do it unless they already have the client which is a long shot. Well, lesson learned lol

Report them and see what happens. The room is soon gone and maybe the owner of the public room is disabled for a time or forever. The creator of the item is also screwed in the same ways. If you wanna have a room like this and manage to find someone to sell them to you, use it only on private chats.
You'll also lower the chances to just throw money away.

I highly suggest not making a BM room public. That's like opening a crack stand on the side of a road and expecting the police to leave you alone. Sure, if the road is small and sees limited traffic your stand might last a little bit but eventually it'll get noticed.

We understand people's concerns with the Deep Client but it's just as safe as the IMVULite and T3DE client I made. The only way to minimize the risk with BM products is to remove Peer Review and CS Review from the equation (and use our other tools to bypass asset detection) which is what the Deep Client does. The alternative is to go back to risking Peer Review with timers, split products and all the other security methods we had to use which were not full-proof and super inconvenient.

It's the same with any sort of "illegal" activity. It will never be as convenient or easy as something legal. If you want to partake you gotta spend time, energy and money playing the cat and mouse game. That said we do our best to make it as easy as we can for you guys but you gotta work with us.

Exactly, many will buy and use T3de and or ImvuLite but are scared to use deep web client?? that makes me laugh.

as for other's (none members of imvumafias) downloading the deep client, i understand it may raise some types of concerns ya know, but the more one understands how these things work, the more comfortable u will be.

I don't understand why people feel the need to make bm rooms public, unless you want to throw an orgy with a bunch of randoms. Blackmarket is considered black market because it's illegal by imvu standards. Flaunting your products is only going to get it flagged. What people don't seem to understand is that having a product flagged and disabled doesn't just fuck u over. If one seller has a product disabled, it's gone for everyone who purchased it. Also, the seller acct will get disabled. This recklessness just adds to the cost of bm. The more people choose to show off without caution, the higher the risk for sellers. Higher risk just equals more money out out of the buyers' pocket.
Being a part of the TIM family, people should look out for one another. If people are going to insist on having their own public bm room, at least make sure you upload it yourself and are prepared to lose it.

@ kikibbg I do agree with DM's suggestion....I would highly suggest the same....making it public would just open a big chance of imvu finding such....As we all know it is hard to hide it as it is now that is why DM/Don is doing everything posible to make it as easy and useful for everyone who wants or interested having/using such...This is just our suggestion....it is for you to decide/choose....Have fun everyone...

there are still other sellers out there that sell without deep client however as a lot of people pointed out in here its not only you thats at risk when you decide to make a room or any bm product public unless you make it yourself.plus if you buy from ther sellers that still do the old way uploading you might loose replacements warranty if you make them public ( thats if they offer any) so you only end up wasting your account other people's accounts and money. you can just as well invite as many people to private chat as you want for any type of orgy.Why take unnecessary risks and waste money in the process? that said making any bm product public is a definite NO
