Permissions and status changes in the Medit shop

just wondering... what do the permissions/status changes grant if anything? or are they just something snazzy to add to an account?

The status changes are basically cosmetic flair. Permissions give you access to extra parts of the forums and misc benefits around the site. For example, the Mafia VIP permission grants you access to the VIP forums where more sensitive topics are discussed. It also grants you some yet to be introduced flair and allows you to have listings on the market for longer. I believe it does more but I can't remember off the top of my head, I'd need to dig into the site's codebase.

Hi everyone, sorry for posting here but I can’t figure out how to post a new thread lol so I’m just replying to this post, I’m very interested in learning about this community and buying a few things I have seen.

When browsing one of the forums, above the announcements in the top right there's a blue button that says post a new topic. Theres also one at the bottom of the page under the topic listing. Clicking one of them will let you create a new thread in whichever forum/subforum you're browsing.

Edit: BTW, love that movie.

Curious, where were you looking for the "New Thread" button? (we are looking to possibly add the button to more places on our site, but we have no idea where people are expecting to see it)

Ok thank you I’ll look again but when I was browsing before I just saw a blue bar but nothing about starting a new thread but maybe cause I’m on a tablet and not PC?

It was most definitely a user error cause for some reason I see it clearly now and for some reason I couldn’t see it before but now it’s clear as the full moon on a dark night lol also took me a bit to find where to see all the categories and areas to post, it mostly just takes you to most recent but not all sections unless you click around for it but I got it now

ok thanks! so the highest "cosmetic flair" status change is captain for 6kM (but im more into the glowing names for 10k) wondering if Permissions expire after a set period of time? I am interested in them and what each permission offers.

Permissions are permanent (unless you do something to warrant having them removed). You'll have to ask

about the specific for the permissions. Aside from Mafia VIP, my understanding of them is limited.
