sounds like i encountered this before... what remedied was, i downloaded a registry fixer, cleaned my temporary files and defrag'ed my drive - although this might not work for your case though.

A couple of weeks ago, something strange happened. Whenever I started up my IMVU, you know if you use the latest version, that you can see your avi next to the home menu?

What happened was my avi wasn't there, it was gone. >.< I went into dress up, my room, had a chat with someone, avi = still gone.

I had to uninstall IMVU and then reinstall it in order to get the avi back.
Maybe somebody could figure out why that happened?

There are still some things they could do to improve imvu, but even if they upgrade again and again, there will always be things they can do to improve it. But overall, it's still awesome!
